ABOUT WILL
Will was born in Galveston,Texas, a small island town in the southeast corner of Texas. While he was still just a tyke his parents decided to head east in search of wealth and opportunity....... Well that still hadn't quite worked out yet! Anyway, they just settled down in the one-horse town of Pineville, Louisiana (his mother's hometown) where he would spend his formative years under the watchful eye of his loving and supportive yet somewhat unstable family members. After a very brief stint at Tuskeggee University, he moved on to North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, North Carolina (AGGIE PRIDE!!!) where he received a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. ('06!!!) He's currently employed with Sealed Air Corp. as a Maintenance Control Group Leader in Greenville, South Carolina. He enjoys volunteering with his fraternity, and at his daughter's school and exercising.
HOW JANET AND WILL MET
HOW WE MET:Even though for one semester (Fall '92) they were at Tuskegee University together, their paths didn't cross until years later. The story goes like this: Jerriot Smash, Will's friend/confidant/co-conspirator of nineteen years, graduated from Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA and took a job with Delphi Corp. in Mississippi. After a few years of toiling in Mississippi, Jerriot and his beautiful bride Kimberly decided to head north in search of wealth and opportunity.....Well, they're still looking , but in the meantime they landed in the Motor City, Motown, home of Gators and short sets. Jerriot remained with Delphi Corp. and Kim started Med school. After some time in Detroit, Jerroit met a new coworker there at Delphi by the name of Janet Foster. Quickly, Janet and Kim became friends. In her infinite wisdom, Kim decided she knew someone who would make a perfect match for Janet - none other than Jerriot's friend Will Whitley, who lived in South Carolina...... So she tried to convince Jerriot to set things up. And at first Jerriot scoffed at the idea, but eventually Kim convinced him. So, one fateful day Jerriot forwarded a picture to Will via email and as is said "the rest is history".the movie 'Unbreakable' at Kim and Jerriot's home. Will stood up and asked Jerriot to remove an item from his pants pocket. That item turned out to be THE ring. Will proceeded to get on 'bended knee' and ask Janet for her hand in marriage. All in attendance were elated and surprised. For the remainder of the evening there was drinking of homemade daiquiris and the ceremonial toasting of champagne. (All except Jerriot, of course.)

KINSHASA, Congo (AP) - Congo's president married his longtime girlfriend Friday in a civil ceremony attended by top government officials.
Joseph Kabila, 35, married Olive Liemba Disita, 26, at the presidential palace in Kinshasa. Images of the ceremony were broadcast on state television showing Kabila and his veiled bride walking past a military honor guard.
Kabila and Disita, the daughter of a civil servant, have lived together for years and have a 6-year-old son.
Kabila, who took office in 2001 following the assassination of his father by the leader's own presidential bodyguards, is one of 33 candidates expected to run in July elections, the country's first democratic vote in four decades.
The mineral-rich nation is struggling to emerge from years of war that ended in 2002 with the creation of a transitional government the following year.
