Mentoring: Youth In Leadership For Positive Results!
Leaders

Mentor IMPACTS Mentee

The Bailey Group believes with mentoring, every one can play an important role -- whether you're a corporate executive who wants to sponsor a program, a foundation executive who can establish quality standards and provide critical funding or a public official who can push for mentor friendly policies and funding.  As a parent, professional, corporate executive, program sponsor or a policy maker, you have a unique opportunity to bring the power of mentoring to boys and girls in your neighborhood, county, state and across the country.  It takes caring, committed men and women mentors to IMPACT the lives of boys and girls.

The Bailey Group realize boys and girls are in a constant state of learning and when equipped with the proper tools and direction each will be able to develop at age levels.  We live in a complex society with many challenges; however, it's our firm belief that for every challenge they face there exist an opportunity to expand their horizons. Mentoring is an awesome experience and creates a legacy in the building of lives. Mentors are cornerstone bricks who help shape lives; they impart invaluable lessons and powerful life experiences; they help design an impressionable imprint in an individual's building of life. Just as each snowflake has a uniquely different design, so it is with the learning style of every boy and girl.

Youth In Leadership emphasizes:

  • Personal development and character building that impacts the total individual.
  • Empowering boys and girls to help them to discover their strength and talent.
  • Motivating and encouraging boys and girls to believe in self and their ability to achieve.
  • Instilling the ABC's of good citizenship: Attitude, Behavior and Conduct.
  • Strong performance, good grades, coping with cliques, professional appearance, and participation in school and community.
Caring Adults

Caring Adults

Do you know a child who would benefit from having another caring adult in their life? We think that all children profit when they have adults they know they can trust and turn to for encouragement and support. Many kids find that special person on their own. It's often an adult who is already a part of their lives, such as a teacher, a relative, a clergyperson or a coach. But for other children, it's not that easy.

How We Can Help You

The Bailey Group is committed to empowering youth. Let us show you how easy it is to change someone's life; and make an impact that can never be erased. Volunteer to be a mentor ... call us at 863/816-8624.

Youth In Leadership For Positive Results
Obtaining our goals

Youth In Leadership, an in-school initiative designed for boys and girls ages 6-18.

Goals:

  1. Provide leadership opportunities to boys and girls who have not had a chance to demonstrate their ability to lead.
  2. Provide personal development curriculum to complement the academic curriculum.
  3. Establish a unique process for boys and girls to be exposed to traditional and non-traditional careers.
  4. Assist boys and girls with identifying and understanding their strenghts, talents and abilities.

Mentoring is an honor and a privilege.  January is National Mentoring month; January 25, is National Mentoring Day.

Mentoring plays a key role in our human existence.
